Luscious Lentil Soup

lentils, washed (red, green or a blend) |

corn oil |
| 3 stalks |
celery, chopped |
| 3/4 cup |
TVP chunks |

carrots, chopped |
| 3 cloves |
minced garlic |

bay leaves |
| 2 teaspoons |
liquid soy lecithin |
| 1 teaspoon |
dolomite |
| 2 tablespoons |
spirulina |
| 1/2 teaspoon |
kelp |
| 2 tablespoons |
tomato paste |
| 1 teaspoon |
liquid smoke |
| water |
- In a slow cooker or large pot on the stove, combine lentils, oil, celery, TVP, carrots, bay, supplements, and tomato paste.
- Add water to desired soupy consistency (depends on how much "gravy" your dog wants) and stir in liquid smoke.
- Simmer until lentils are soft. To serve, ladle over cooked rice, pasta, or whole grain bread.
- Top with crumbled dairy-free "cheese", if desired.
