Sesame Rye Treats
| 2 cups |
whole wheat flour |
| 1/2 cup |
rye flour |
| 1/4 cup |
cornmeal |
| 1 teaspoon |
kelp powder |
| 1 cup |
rice milk |
| 2 tablespoons |
oil |
| 1/4 cup |
molasses |
| 3/4 cup |
sesame seeds |
| additional water as needed |
- In a large bowl, combine flours, cornmeal, kelp, and seeds.
- Stir in wet ingredients one at a time. Add more water, if needed to form a stiff dough.
- Roll out on a floured surface and cut with cookie cutters.
- Bake on an oiled cookie sheet at 300 degrees until crisp.
- Optional: You may want to glaze these biscuits for a smoother look. In a cup, combine 1/4c soy milk with 1 tsp. molasses. Brush over biscuits before baking.
