Cinnamon Apple Snaps

A fabulous fall treat!
4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup grated apple, unsweetened apple sauce, or apple pulp from a juicer
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/3 cup water
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, oil, and cinnamon.
  • Stir in water and apple.
  • Mix till a stiff dough forms.
  • Knead till smooth.
  • Roll out on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cut with cookie cutters.
  • Bake at 325 degrees till browned and crunchy.
