Cinnamon Apple Snaps
A fabulous fall treat!
| 4 cups |
whole wheat flour |
| 1/2 cup |
cornmeal |
| 2 tablespoons |
vegetable oil |
| 1 cup |
grated apple, unsweetened apple sauce, or apple pulp from a juicer |
| 1 teaspoon |
cinnamon |
| 1 1/3 cup |
water |
- In a large bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, oil, and cinnamon.
- Stir in water and apple.
- Mix till a stiff dough forms.
- Knead till smooth.
- Roll out on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut with cookie cutters.
- Bake at 325 degrees till browned and crunchy.
