Canine Corn Bread

Delicious on a chilly day with one of the warm soup recipes. Your dog will know you care.
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup whole wheat flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup rice milk
1/2 cup corn oil
  • Combine cornmeal, flour, and baking powder.
  • In a separate bowl or measuring cup combine rice milk and oil.
  • Beat until smooth.
  • Pour into a greased 8" square pan and bake at 425 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  • Serve by itself for a snack, or with soup ladled over the top for a cozy meal.
